With just days to go before the SIM Registration deadline, Globe Telecom is bolstering its effort to encourage current (and new) Globe Pre-Paid users to register their sim by incentivizing its customers with the 2X Rewards Campaign.
How does it work? If you registered your Globe Pre-Paid SIM before the deadline, subscribers with Php 90 and above promo/load transactions and TM customers with Php 50 and above transactions will get twice the Rewards when they register via the GlobeOne app.
Globe Reward is a rewards program that you get whenever you buy a load or a promo or pay your Postpaid bills on the regular. It incentives loyal Globe Subscribers by giving them accumulating Rewards points that they can redeem for more call/text/data promos, special prizes and packages, or as used as payment option with various Globe Rewards partner establishments.
The 2X Rewards promo aims to encourage new and existing Globe and TM prepaid subscribers to comply with Republic Act No. 11934 or the SIM Registration Act, which aims to curb fraud and other forms of cybercrime by establishing a registry of SIM users.
“We urge our subscribers to take advantage of the 2X Rewards promo and register their SIMs before the April 26 deadline to avoid inconvenience. We recognize the significance of the SIM Registration Act in preventing scams and other forms of online criminal activity, and we are committed to helping our customers comply. Let’s work together to make our online community safer and more secure,” said Jerome Patalud, head of Globe Rewards.
SIMS can be registered for FREE at anytime, anywhere via https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg and the GlobeOne app. Do take note, failure to do so within the specified period will lead to SIM deactivation.
So if you don’t want your SIMs to be deactivated and get more out of your usual Globe purchases via the 2X Rewards Campaign, we highly encourage you guys to register your SIM cards.
If you’re a Globe Postpaid subscriber, you should get an SMS asking you to allow Globe to register for you.
As of previous reports, Globe has logged around 31M registered SIMS against 86.7 million total subscribers.
