At the brand’s April GPC 2023, Acer unveiled the Swift X 16, a new laptop that promises to be a great partner for content creators.
Specifically, this new laptop is aimed at those who need a device for graphic designing, 3D rendering, and video editing, all while being portable.
Powering this new laptop is up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7940H processor that’s paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with Studio Drivers. With this combo, the laptop should have more than enough power for a creators needs.
Speaking of creators, this laptop also comes with two USB Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1 and Wi-Fi 6E for connectivity, as well as a microSD card slot for easy file transfer with cameras.
As for its display, the laptop has a 16-inch 3.2k 16:10 OLED display supporting 100% DCI-P3 and 500 nits peak brightness. This should mean creators will get a near monitor-like display experience for work and for some binge-watching.
Even with its specs, connectivity, and screen, the Swift X 16 still manages to be a slim and light laptop as it weighs just 1.9 kg and has a sleek 17.9 mm chassis.
Finally, the Swift X 16 packs promises enhanced video calls and recording with the 1080p FHD camera, complete with Acer’s TNR technology, AcerPurifiedView and AcerPurifiedVoice. These features should make it a great partner for any online meeting or conference call.
Exact specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region. Though Acer should announce the Swift X 16 price and availability in the Philippines soon.
