Following its recent announcement, SEGA and Relic Entertainment released a new trailer for Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition.
This new trailer gives fans a better look at some of this version’s key features, including the Full Tactical Pause. While pausing is available on PC, this is a much more important feature on consoles as a controller just isn’t as fast for strategy games as a keyboard and mouse.

Company of Heroes 3 was initially released on PC back in February. The game is the third entry in the long-running Company of Heroes franchise. And while it’s still set in World War 2, its focus is on the Mediterranean Theater.
The game’s premise is described as:
Company of Heroes’ renowned boots-on-the-ground storytelling will bring players to the Mediterranean Theatre of War where they can experience two different Campaigns, unlock authentic new tactics, four distinct factions, and a wealth of untold stories from World War II. Company of Heroes 3 on consoles offers players a custom UI, full gamepad support, and special features that allow them to play at their own pace. The user interface has been adapted for gamepads to ensure a fun and immersive experience for all.
Players who pre-order Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition will receive various in-game items at launch.
Meanwhile, the Digital Premium Edition comes with the Devil’s Brigade DLC Pack which features cosmetics that are based on elite commando units of World War II. This package will also come with Expansion 1 which is set to launch on consoles sometime in 2024.
As for the Physical Launch Edition, this version also includes the Devil’s Brigade DLC Pack. Though it also comes with goodies, including an embroidered patch, a Collector’s Book, and a double-sided map.
Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 30, 2023.
