It has been years now since the game was announced, and finally, AEW: Fight Forever finally has an official release date.
This highly anticipated wrestling game was finally confirmed to release on June 29 on all major consoles and PC.
“When I first signed with AEW, Tony Khan gave me the opportunity to assemble the best gaming team that understands and respects professional wrestling, to make the best wrestling games ever,” said Kenny Omega, Executive Vice President and former AEW World Champion and World Tag Team Champion at AEW. “Thanks to our incredible collaboration with Geta, YUKE’s and THQ Nordic, a new era of professional wrestling gaming is quickly approaching. AEW: Fight Forever has exceeded my highest expectations, and I’m confident that June 29 will be a momentous day for wrestling fans and gamers alike.”
As its name implies, Fight Forever is an upcoming wrestling game, and it’s also the first game for All Elite Wrestling. For this title, developer YUKE’s Co. Ltd has a retro approach to its development, including hand-crafted animation and a nostalgic arcade style. While it’s billed as a throwback to the golden age of wrestling games, it still promises to satisfy fans of modern AEW wrestling as it features the roster’s various unique moves.
Plus, aside from an arcade-style game mode, there will also be a career mode, wrestler customization, multiple match types, and online co-op wrestling matches.
AEW: Fight Forever will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on June 29, 2023.
