The big 2023 PlayStation Showcase has finally been announced, and it is happening on May 24, promising big reveals and updates.
Specifically, the showcase will happen on May 24 at 1 PM PDT — that’s May 25 at 4 AM in Philippine time. While it might be incredibly late (or early if you’re an early riser), it promises to be a must-watch for gamers as it promises to features lots of big announcements and updates on previously revealed titles.
According to details shared on the PlayStation Blog, this PlayStation 2023 Showcase will be over an hour long, and it will focus on PS5 and PS VR2 titles. While many new PlayStation Studios projects have been announced, there are also third-party and indie-developed games that will be put on the spotlight.
The next big PS5 exclusive is Final Fantasy 16, and with its release coming in just a month, there’s likely going to be a new trailer or another showcase for the game.
Though what many fans are likely excited for is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games, the long-anticipated sequel to the PS4 Spider-Man game. The last we saw of it was in 2021 where Venom was revealed, so here’s hoping we get a new update.
PlayStation’s upcoming showcase will go live on May 24 (or 25 if you’re in East/Southeast Asia) on YouTube and Twitch.
