Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the latest film in the long-running series, and it will be released in the Philippines this June.
Ahead of its release, Paramount Pictures shared a new look at the movie in this new “Prime Meets Primal” clip featuring the iconic Autobots, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Check out the new preview here:
As you may have noticed, the clip features Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in forms that look closer to their classic looks. This is because the new Transformers movie isn’t a sequel to the Last Knight. Instead, it’s a follow-up to the Bumblebee movie that’s set in 1994. It also means this is another prequel to the 2007 Transformers film.
Its premise is described as:
Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ’90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth.
This next Transformers Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in theaters June 7.
