After unveiling the Attack on Titan and Dragon Ball collections, Uniqlo unveiled the World of Clamp UT line featuring Cardcaptor Sakura tees, xxxHolic shirts, and more.
While Cardcaptor Sakura is a globally popular series, some fans may not be familiar with CLAMP. For those who aren’t, CLAMP is an all-female Japanese manga artist group that consists of four members: Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi.
CLAMP is the creative group that is behind some of the most popular manga franchises of the 90s and the 2000s. Aside from Cardcaptor Sakura, they are also the creators of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, xxxHolic, and Magic Knight Rayearth, among others.
Now, fans of CLAMP’s works can show off their fandom with these Uniqlo tees. Here’s a rundown of all seven designs in the collab:
First, we have two tees based on the ever-popular Cardcaptor Sakura featuring Sakura Kinomoto; one in pink and another in white.
Next is a white tee with a design based on Magic Knight Rayearth, featuring the three magical girls Umi Hikaru, and Fuu.
Then there’s a black tee featuring a design taken from the xxxHolic manga featuring Yuko Ichihara.
For Tsubasa fans, there’s a green graphic tee with a colorful Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle print on the back.
Finally, there’s another black tee with the word CLAMP on it above the Tokyo Tower (where Magic Knight Rayearth begins).
Each tee is priced at JPY 1,500 (around USD 11 or PHP 617) and are available in Women’s sizes from XS to 3XL.
This new Uniqlo World of CLAMP UT collection will be released in Japan in mid-July. For now, there’s no word yet on an international release date, though we expect this collection to be released in Uniqlo stores worldwide soon after its Japanese launch.
