In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, new footage of Spider-Man 2 for the PS5 was surprisingly shown in a brief scene during the early part of the movie.
Previously, it was revealed that Insomniac Games’ Peter Parker and Miles Morales will be in the movie. They were even shown in the trailer (as you can see below):
This isn’t too surprising given all the cameos, easter eggs, and all kinds of multiverse shenanigans in the movie. But what was unexpected was that a new gameplay clip was shown in the movie.
Specifically, in the film, Ganke is shown playing a Spider-Man game on his PS5 while Miles is busy trying to juggle his school and Spidey duties. While it may seem at first like the 2018 Spider-Man game, a closer look reveals that the gameplay shows Spider-Man with mechanical arms that aren’t in the original.
