After getting leaked a few days ago, ATLUS finally unveiled Persona 3 Reload, the long-rumored remake of Persona 3.
The game was officially announced with the release of the reveal trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. In the trailer, gameplay footage of Reload was shown, and it confirms that the game will feature Persona 5-style looks and gameplay.

Just a few months ago, Persona 3 Portable was released on modern platforms. But for Persona fans who find that version’s gameplay to be simple and clunky (given that it’s basically a PSP game), Reload is sure to be something to watch out for.
From the looks of it, Persona 3 Reload will be a faithful remake of the original game. Though it remains to be seen if there will be some changes, or maybe even extra content to be added.
As Reload was shown on the Xbox Games Showcase, the game is currently confirmed to release on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC in early 2024.
Though given that the previous Persona re-releases also got PlayStation version announcements, it won’t be a surprise if ATLUS also confirms that Reload will release on PS5. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s the case though.
