Spy x Family Code: White movie gets new trailer ahead of December release

Spy x Family is getting an original movie this holiday season!

Following its initial announcement back in December 2022, the first teaser trailer for the movie Spy x Family Code: White was released, giving us our first look at the Forger family’s next adventure.

This new trailer might be short, but it does feature our first look at the film’s footage, including scenes featuring Loid, Yor, Anya, and Bond as they take a trip to a winter destination for their next adventure. But from the looks of it, the film will feature lots of action, as Loid and Yor will use their skills against new foes.

The Spy x Family anime is no doubt one of the most popular shows of 2022, and for good reason. It’s found family story paired with a loveable cast pretty much hits all the right buttons. Not to mention that it has something for everyone with its action, comedy, slice-of-life, romance, and other elements.

Because of its popularity, Spy x Family was quickly renewed for a second season which will air in October 2023. Though aside from a new season that will continue following the manga’s story, a Spy x Family movie will also be released in December.

Instead of following the manga though, the movie will feature an original story, but it will still be written by series creator, Tatsuya Endo.

Spy x Family Code: White will be released in Japanese cinemas on December 22, 2023. The film is expected to release in cinemas outside Japan as well, though no release plans have been revealed yet.
