After launching a Poke Ball case last year, Samsung revealed more new Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon cases featuring Snorlax, Ditto, and Jigglypuff.
While last year’s collab only featured one type of case, it was a hot seller when it launched in Korea. Because of its success, Samsung once again linked up with Pokemon for another Galaxy Buds case collection, this time featuring three designs based on beloved Pokemon.
For starters, there’s the Snorlax Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 case featuring the lovable and always sleepy Pokemon. Given Snorlax’s popularity, it’s likely that this will sell out quickly.
Next we have a Ditto Galaxy Buds 2 case. While Ditto can transform into any Pokemon, you shouldn’t expect this case to morph to whatever Pokemon you want. Not that you’d want it to as the Ditto case is already adorable on its own.
Finally, there’s the Jigglypuff case. Thankfully, Jigglypuff doesn’t have its mic, so you won’t be in danger of suddenly falling asleep if you get this case.
These three case designs are compatible with both the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro (given that both feature the same case dimensions), and they are available in Korea for KRW 39,600 (around USD 30 or PHP 1,700). The cases are also available as bundles with the Galaxy Buds 2 or Buds 2 Pro. Each case also comes with a cute sticker.
Right now, there’s no word yet on an international release for these Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pokemon cases. Sadly, it seems that they will once again be limited to Korea.
