The Nun II is coming to cinemas in the Philippines this September

The Nun II is coming to PH cinemas soon!

It has been nearly five years since the first film, and finally, Warner Bros Pictures announced that The Nun II is heading to cinemas in the Philippines this September.

Specifically, this highly anticipated installment in the Conjuring universe will release in cinemas on September 6, meaning fans will only need to wait two months before they get to watch it.

SpecificallyThe Nun II’s premise is described as:

  1. 1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.

Meanwhile, the movie’s cast includes  Taissa Farmiga (“The Nun,” “The Gilded Age”) as Sister Irene, and she is joined by Jonas Bloquet (“Tirailleurs,” “The Nun”), Storm Reid (“The Last of Us,” “The Suicide Squad”), Anna Popplewell (“Fairytale,” “The Chronicles of Narnia” trilogy) and Bonnie Aarons (reprising her role from “The Nun”)

This upcoming film is directed by Michael Chaves (“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”), and it’s written by Ian Goldberg & Richard Naing (“Eli,” “The Autopsy of Jane Doe”) and Akela Cooper (“M3GAN,” “Malignant”).

The Nun II is coming to cinemas in the Philippines on September 6, 2023. More info on the movie, including its cinema list, will be revealed closer to its release.
