Following its official reveal a few months ago, ASUS finally announced that the ROG Ally will launch in the Philippines next week.
In case you missed it, the ROG Ally is ASUS ROG’s first handheld gaming PC, and it is also the most powerful device of its kind right now as its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme SoC can run triple-A games smoothly, even at 1080p (as we confirmed in our review). This makes it way more capable than other handheld gaming PC, including the much-loved Steam Deck.
And unlike the Steam Deck, the ROG Ally comes with Windows 11 installed, meaning you can run all the different launchers you need without having to install Windows manually (as is the case with the Steam Deck).
Plus, the Ally has a 7-inch 1080p screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, meaning it should deliver a better gaming experience that most other gaming handhelds.
