Ahead of the game’s release this week, SEGA shared new details about the upcoming DLC packs for Samba de Amigo: Party Central.
Party Central is an upcoming motion-based rhythm game by SEGA that’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. Though this might seem like an entirely new IP from SEGA, this is actually a sequel to the original Samba de Amigo game which was released back in 1999 for the Dreamcast.
Recently, SEGA revealed some details about game modes and characters. Now, SEGA announced the DLC packs that fans can expect to come out soon, and they’ll feature extra songs ranging from pop songs to video game tracks.
Specifically, there are two initial batches, the first of which will be released on the game’s launch day. But in total, there will be eight music packs planned.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central Initial DLC sets to release on August 30
To start, three DLC packs will be released on August 30. The first two will be available as paid DLC. Meanwhile, the All-in Pack will be accessible for players who bought the physical edition.
Here’s a rundown of the contents of each pack:
Japanese Music Pack
- “Kiki Kitan” by Eve
- “KING” by Virtual Singer
- “MATSUKEN SAMBA II” by Ken Matsudaira
Sonic Music Pack
- “Open Your Heart”

Second batch of DLCs coming on September 28
Meanwhile, these next two packs will be available on September 28. The K-Pop pack will only be available as a paid DLC while the SEGA Music Pack will be distributed in advance from August 30 to those who have digital deluxe version copies.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central will release on the Nintendo Switch on August 30, 2023. Following this Switch release, the game will also be launched in VR on the Meta Quest 2/Meta Quest Pro in Fall 2023.
