After Party Central’s release on the Switch, SEGA announced that Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go is now available on Apple Arcade, the video game subscription service from Apple.
You can think of this game as a mobile version of Samba de Amigo: Party Central, though it does still stand out for being the first game in the series to feature a story mode.
SEGA describes the game as:
“Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go is a brand-new installment in SEGA’s rhythm game series Samba de Amigo, in which players swing maracas to the beat that was popular in the 2000s. In addition to three songs that can only be enjoyed in this work, such as PSY’s “DADDY”, Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory”, and Fitz and the Tantrums’ “The Walker”, more than 40 hit songs from popular music genres around the world are included, and more songs will be added after release!”
Samba de Amigo: Party-to-Go is a pleasant surprise for Apple users as they won’t have to get a console to try out SEGA’s newest rhythm game. And while this might seem like a brand-new IP, this along with Party Central are follow-ups to the original Samba de Amigo game which was released back in 1999.
Meanwhile, Samba de Amigo: Party Central is available on the Nintendo Switch, with a Meta Quest 2/Meta Quest Pro version also coming soon. For more on Party Central, check out our review here:
