Ubisoft announced a free weekend for up to five Assassin’s Creed games on a variety of platforms from August 10 to 14.
While the entire franchise is not technically available for free, this is still the best time to try out the most number of games in the series yet. That’s because Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag, and Valhalla will be available to play for free beginning tomorrow, depending on the platform.
This isn’t the first free weekend for the series, though it’s easily the biggest yet as it features not only the latest mainline entry in Valhalla, but also a couple of classics that new fans may want to check out.
Aside from trying the games out for free, the titles will also be on special offer with up to 80% off. Here’s a rundown of all offers by platform:
- PC via Ubisoft Connect: From August 9 until August 17, players can get up to 85 percent off Assassin’s Creed Games
- PlayStation: From today until August 15, players can get up to 80 percent off Assassin’s Creed Games.
- Xbox: From August 10 to 14, Xbox will have a unique “Buy One Get Two free” program for many Assassin’s Creed games, including Black Flag and Valhalla. After that, between August 15 and 28, players can get up to 85% off many Assassin’s Creed titles, including the games available in the Free Weekend.
