After previous reports of the phone having a powerful SoC and a stand-out display, new info has surfaced online that the vivo X100 will feature an impressive telephoto lens along with other capable shooters.
While vivo has yet to officially confirm the phone’s specs, the X100 series devices are said to have impressive telephoto shooters. For starters, the Pro version promises to pack a periscope telephoto shooter that will surpass the 90 Pro+, especially in low-light conditions.
Meanwhile, the vivo X100 base model is reportedly getting a Zeiss HD lens with a 12MP periscope telephoto shooter. This should make the standard X100 a capable flagship shooter even if it’s not the Pro model.
But for those who want all the bells and whistles, the vivo X100 Pro+ version promises to be an excellent choice given that it’s said to feature 200MP telephoto lens with 10x zoom. This should also give this phone impressive digital zoom capabilities given that the lossless zoom is already at 10x.
Along with the telephoto, the vivo X100 rear shooter setup also has a 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera and 32MP ultra-clear wide-angle lens according to some reports.
Plus, the X100 series phones are said to deliver great results not only for zoomed-in shots in daytime, but also for low-light and portrait photography.
Moving on from cameras, some Chinese insiders say that the vivo X100 and its Pro version will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300 with four Cortex-X4 mega-cores and four Cortex-A720 macro cores.
Finally, the vivo X100 Pro+ is reportedly going to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
For now though, we’ll have to wait and see until vivo officially reveals the X100, though there’s no word yet on an expected reveal date for it.
