Ayala Malls Cinemas announced its AMC Thrill Fest event, a month-long Halloween special that’s headlined by The Exorcist: 50th Anniversary Director’s Cut.
This Halloween event from Ayala Malls Cinemas began on September 27, and it features a wide range of horror films. Though the highlight for many is The Exorcist, the classic horror film from 1973. During the Thrill Fest event, fans can watch the film’s Director’s Cut in all its glory on the big screen, guaranteeing lots of frights.
The Exorcist is back in cinemas now, though horror fans can look forward to more as The Exorcist: Believer is also coming this October as part of Thrill Fest. This new entry in the franchise is directed by David Gordon Green, and it’s a direct sequel to the 70s classic that sees Ellen Burstyn repreise her role as Chris MacNeil.
Finally, the Thrill Fest lineup will get more additions with thrillers such as The Forbidden Play (Oct. 11), Target (Oct. 18), Beetlejuice (Oct. 25) and Five Nights at Freddy’s (Nov. 1). All of these films will be screened in Ayala Malls Cinemas locations.
As a bonus, Ayala Malls Cinemas will award a free movie ticket to those who have watched five out of the six movies in the Thrill Fest lineup.
