Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition announced, coming to PS5 and PC

Horizon Forbidden West is finally coming to PC next year!

It has been a couple of months now since the release of the Burning Shores expansion, and now, PlayStation announced the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition which is coming to PS5 and PC.

As its name implies, this version of the game will come with both the base game and the Burning Shores expansion, making it a must-have for those who have yet to play the new Horizon game.

The Complete Edition was announced with a new trailer which you can watch here:

Forbidden West’s PC release is not surprising given that most other PlayStation exclusives have gotten PC releases. Though this is quite a bit earlier than many expected, especially as it has only been a year and a half since the base game’s release. This should mean PC players can expect to get PlayStation exclusives without having to wait too long.

As for its PC-specific features, it’s likely that it will come with support for ultrawide resolution and other features. Though PlayStation hasn’t revealed the full list of PC features for the game. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to get these details.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be released on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store sometime in 2024. Meanwhile, the game’s PS5 version will be released earlier, October 6, 2023, to be exact.
