Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc is coming to Disney+ this October

Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc introduces Izana, the half-Filipino leader of Yokohama Tenjiku.

After the Christmas Showdown Arc earlier this year, the Tokyo Revengers anime is coming back with the Tenjiku Arc, and it’s coming to Disney+ this October.

This new arc follows the events of the Christmas Showdown where Yokohama’s Tenjiku gang launch an attack on the Tokyo Manji gang. FOr the new season, the Tenjiku gang’s Izana will play a major role.

Izana is an interesting character, especially for Pinoy anime fans. After all, Izana is half-Filipino. Aside from his ethnicity though, Izana is a compelling character for many manga readers, especially given the events of this arc.

To celebrate the announcement, a new key visual for the anime was shared featuring Izana facing off against Mikey. Check it out here:

Along with the new visual, it was also revealed that the new season will feature a brand new opening song titled “Say My Name” by popular Japanese punk band HEY-SMITH.

For those unfamiliar, Tokyo Revengers is an series that took the anime world, especially Japan by storm when its first season aired in 2021. The manga series that it’s based on has ended last year, though the anime seems to be set on adapting the manga’s entire story.

Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc is coming to Disney+ on October 4, 2023. It will be streamed worldwide on the platform, at least in regions where Disney+ is officially available.
