With the release of Spider-Man 2 coming in just a few weeks, Adidas revealed a new Spider-Man Ultra 4D collab with an interesting design.
While these new sneakers aren’t explicitly named as a PlayStation collab, it does feature the Insomniac Spider-Man logo on the tongue. The biggest giveaway that these new sneakers are for the upcoming PS5 Spider-Man game is the design as it is definitely Venom-inspired (the upcoming game will heavily feature Venom).
This Ultra 4D pair comes in the signature Spider-Man red with white stripes and a blue accent at the front. Though the sneakers come with Venom symbiote designs at the bottom that blend with the black 4D midsole. This makes the sneakers look like Spider-Man’s suit that’s slowly being taken over by the symbiote.
Here are some more images of the sneakers to give you a better look at what to expect:
This isn’t the first time that Adidas linked up with PlayStation for a Spider-Man collab. Back in 2020, Adidas released Miles Morales edition Superstars which were made as a collaboration with Insomniac Games’ Miles Morales standalone expansion. What’s cool about this is the sneakers actually appear in-game.
It’s not known yet if the Ultra 4D will be seen in Spider-Man 2, but what we do know is that it is priced at USD 219.99 (around PHP 12,500) on Tillys. For now, there’s no word yet on if these sneakers will be released in other countries.
As for Spider-Man 2, the game will be available on PS5 beginning October 20, 2023.
