TP-Link launches Archer Air R5 and E5

TP-Link's new Archer R5 and E5 look more like tablets that routers.

After launching its Archer AX12 recently, TP-Link has released two new routers in the Philippines: the Archer Air R5 and E5.

Unlike the AX12, the new Archer Air R5 and E5 look more like tablets thanks to their unique form factors which are made to be incredibly thin and light. Not only is this made to make them fit into smaller spaces, the unique design also makes them blend more seamlessly at home.

The Archer Air R5 may look like a tablet, but it’s actually a fully-functional Wi-Fi router that features Wi-Fi 6 technology. It also promises to support multiple connected devices, all while being secure thanks to WPA3 security.

Meanwhile, the Air E5 is a range extender that you can use to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones in your home. Both the R5 and E5 can also be mounted via a stick-and-mount system so you can easily stick them in your preferred spot; whether that’s for optimal signal or for aesthetics.

“At TP-Link, we’ve always been committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in networking technology. With our latest products, the Archer Air R5 and Archer Air E5, we’ve taken that commitment a step further. The launch of these products have promoted the development of the ultra-thin router market” said Ben Chen, the Country Manager of TP-Link Philippines. “Our sleek and slim design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about making technology seamlessly integrate into your living space. We’re excited to offer a product that not only performs exceptionally but also enhances the overall ambiance of your space. This is the future of connectivity, where cutting-edge technology meets sophisticated design,” he added.

The TP-Link Archer Air R5 and E5 are available in the Philippines now at the TP-Link concept store at SM North EDSA, authorized resellers, and at the official Shopee and Lazada stores.
