Epiphone by Gibson Japan recently revealed a limited edition Bocchi the Rock guitar with a design based on the Gibson Les Paul Custom, the same guitar Goto Hitori (Bocchi) used in the anime.
The Epiphone Bocchi Edition guitar distribution is completely limited, as they will only produce 200 pieces of this guitar. Getting your hands on this special musical instrument is also going to be a challenge, as not only one can purchase this item through a lottery, but it’s also available exclusively in Japan.
But for those residing in Japan and are interested, what makes this guitar stand out is that it looks like the true Gibson Les Paul Custom with its custom binding, slim taper neck, gold hardware, and iconic glossy ebony body (Epiphone is after all Gibson’s more budget-friendly brand). Epiphone also included a golden plate with Bocchi’s autograph that was seen in the show, and it’s affixed at the guitar’s pickguard.0 They also included a gig bag that has the “Kessaku” band logo printed on it.
For the full specification of the guitar check out the ANIPLEX+ website. There, you can find the registration form for the lottery, but as mentioned before, this is exclusively available in Japan.
The Epiphone by Gibson Les Paul Custom Bocchi the Rock edition guitar will cost JPY 128,000 (around PHP 47,311.37) including tax, and the lottery will be open until November 28, 2023.
