Geeked Week 2023: The biggest trailers and reveals from Netflix

Netflix Geeked Week 2023 saw a dizzying array of big reveals and trailers for new and upcoming TV shows and movies. These include our first proper looks at the Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series, as well as the teaser for Avatar: The Last Airbender. There were also showcases for upcoming films and other TV shows, and even an intriguing new anime in a beloved sci-fi franchise.

So, if you missed the big reveals of the past week, here’s a quick rundown of Netflix Geeked Week 2023:

Yu Yu Hakusho live-action – December 14, 2023

Kicking things off, we have the live-action Yu Yu Hakusho teaser which looks pretty good. Fingers-crossed that it’s just as good as Netflix’s One Piece adaptation.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Live-Action – February 22, 2024

Yu Yu Hakusho isn’t the only animated series getting the live-action treatment as Avatar: The Last Airbender is also getting one. The teaser also looks promising, so we’re interested to see it this February.

Sweet Home 2 – December 1, 2023

The first Sweet Home season was a huge hit, and finally, fans will be treated to Sweet Home 2 this December, and it promises even more frights.

Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire – December 22, 2023

Zack Snyder is back with another Netflix film. This time, instead of his Army of the Dead franchise, Snyder is working on the first part of Rebel Moon, an epic space opera.

Terminator: The Anime Series (TBA)

Terminator is making a comeback, but not with a new film. Instead, Netflix teamed up with Production IG (of Heavenly Delusion and Haikyu! fame) for a new Terminator anime. There’s no word yet on a release date though.
