Following the reveal of Reina, Bandai Namco finally announced the Tekken 8 PC system requirements, and it’s confirmed that you’ll need a lot of space on your PC.
The Tekken 8 minimum and recommended PC system requirements were revealed via the game’s official Steam store page.
To start, here are the minimum requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K/AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti/AMD Radeon R9 380X
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard/Onboard chipset
The game’s minimum requirements are surprisingly not bad as even an old GPU like the GTX 1050Ti will be able to play the game. The biggest thing to consider is that the game will require 100GB of space on your storage device. This means you’ll want to clear up some space on your drive if your PC/laptop’s storage is on the smaller side.
Of course, you’ll have to remember that you’ll only be able to play that lowest graphics settings if your rig only meets the minimum.
Meanwhile, here are the recommended requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K/AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070/AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard/Onboard chipset
For the recommended requirements, only an RTX 2070 is needed, so you won’t need the latest hardware to run the game smoothly at higher graphics settings.
Though take note that the performance targets weren’t revealed, so it’s not clear yet what framerate and resolution the recommended system requirements are targeting. We’ll likely find out when the game releases which, thankfully, won’t be long now.
Tekken 8 will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 26, 2024.
