At the Game Awards 2023, Square Enix shared a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth that reveals its theme song titled “No Promises to Keep.”
This new song is composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu and performed by the renowned Loren Allred. Aside from sharing a preview of the theme song, the new announcement trailer is a must-watch for fans as it features a lot of new clips featuring the game’s new and returning characters.

It’s fair to say that this trailer is filled with highlights, including some beautiful scenes of Aerith on stage. But what many got excited about was no doubt the proper looks at Vincent and Cid. Plus, the trailer features new clips of Zack, heralding the huge changes that will come in Rebirth.
When Final Fantasy VII Remake was released, it got a lot of praise for its gameplay and story, though many were surprised about the differences. Now, with Rebirth, the next entry in the remake project promises to be a huge departure story-wise. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see what else will change in this game’s story.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29, 2024 on the PlayStation 5.
