Garena introduces revamped Free Fire World Series 2024 roadmap

Garena is revamping the Free Fire World Series for 2024.

Garena recently gave fans their first look at the Free Fire World Series 2024 roadmap which features a revamped esports system that’s made to elevate the game’s pro player scene.

With the new system, each local FFWS league in Southeast Asia will lead into the FFWS Global Finals in November.

As for what to expect in SEA, Free Fire will introduce FFWS Southeast Asia (SEA) 2024, a new regional league that promises to give budding pro teams a place to show off and hone their skills.

The league will feature two major tournaments: FFWS SEA Spring and FFWS SEA Fall. In these events, 18 teams (5 each from Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and 3 from Malaysia) will participate through either direct invitations or local qualifiers.

The first event of the two is FFWS SEA Spring 2024 which will happen from March 22 to May 26, and will feature a USD 300,00 prize pool. This event’s Grand Final weekend will take place from May 24 to 26.

More info on the full Free Fire World series 2024 roadmap, including the lineup of international events and Global Finals location, will be shared in the coming weeks.

Aside from esports, it’s likely that Free Fire will get more exciting crossover events in 2024. After all, this year saw several high-profile collabs, including the Demon Slayer and Spider-Verse crossovers.
