Atlus recently revealed that the Persona 5 series has reached the major milestone of 10 million sales worldwide across all platforms.
This is already a huge achievement for any series, but what makes it more impressive is that the sales record counts only the Persona 5 games (meaning P4, P3, and other titles don’t count). These include the OG Persona 5, Royal, Strikers, Dancing in Starlight, and Tactica.
To celebrate the milestone, Atlus shared a special commemorative illustration:
That’s not all though. Atlus is also marking the achievement by giving Persona 5 Royal a 50% on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Steam.
This discount is available now until January 2, 2024 on the Nintendo eShop. Meanwhile, the offer on the PlayStation Store and Steam will be available soon.
For those who haven’t played Persona 5 Royal yet, it’s the definitive version of P5 as it features lots of new content, including a new story arc and various additional locations.
Meanwhile, for those who have already played the original, there’s Persona 5 Strikers, a musou-style game that serves as a sequel. There’s aso the newly-launched Persona 5 Tactica which adds a unique tactical RPG spin to the series’ JRPG formula, all while bringing back the Phantom Thieves.
