After the anime’s first part was streamed, Disney announced that the sci-fi anime series SYNDUALITY Noir is back for Part 2 with new episodes on Disney+.
The show’s first part began with the premiere of its first episode on July 11, and it has gotten a new episode every week until September 25. After a season-long break though, the anime is finally coming back, this time with another set of episodes (likely 12 again).
To give you a quick refresher of part one’s events, Disney+ summarized the initial episodes’ story here:
“SYNDUALITY Noir part one followed a group of humans forced deep underground in the wake of a terrible catastrophe known as the “Tears of the New Moon” incident. After life in their underground city began to collapse, the humans were once again pushed to the surface, where a threat known as the Enders roamed, looking to kill any humans they discovered. With their lives at risk, groups of people came together to create tight-knit settlements in various locations on the surface, relying on unique energy sources to power them and keep them safe. But with resources ever-dwindling, a group of brave individuals known as Drifters ventured out into the open, battling the Enders and mining energy sources.”
For Part 2, the show’s cast members return, including:
- Takeo Otsuka as Kanata
- Aoi Koga as Noir
- Nagisa Aoyama as Ciel
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Tokio
- Fuminori Komatsu as Mouton
- Konomi Inagaki as Ellie

SYNDUALITY Noir Part 2 begins streaming today on Disney+, with new episodes being released every week. Meanwhile, Part 1 is also streaming on the platform for those who have yet to see it.
