After revealing the finalists a few months ago, Taipei Game Show 2024 is finally here, and with it comes the reveal of the Indie Game Awards winners for this year.
For this year’s event 25 games from 14 countries/regions were shortlisted, though only one winner in each of the eight categories were selected.
The winners were revealed earlier today during the first day of Taipei Game Show 2024, with the ceremony featuring Yoshida Shuhei, Head of Indies Initiative at Sony Interactive Entertainment, to present the awards.

The big winner of this year’s award is Viewfinder, the puzzle game by Sad Owl Studios as it took home the Grand Prix. Of course, the rest of the category winners are also no doubt deserving of their wins, and they should be well worth checking out for indie game fans.
Taipei Game Show 2024 is happening at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 today until January 28, 2024.
