After its reveal back in October, Uniqlo Philippines finally announced that it will release the Metal Gear Archive UT collection in PH stores soon.
The lineup’s PH launch was revealed via the official Uniqlo Philippines Facebook page. There, the Japanese clothing giant confirmed that all six designs released in Japan will also be launched in PH stores later this month.
Take note that this is not an entirely new collection as it features designs that were part of previously-released collabs. This is the case with Uniqlo’s UT Archive releases which focuses on bringing back past designs (great news for those who weren’t able to buy them.
Here’s a rundown of all the designs in the collection:
Even though these t-shirts aren’t exactly new, the release should still be great news for Pinoy Metal Gear fans. After all, these t-shirts have been released over a decade ago, and they haven’t gotten re-released since.
Fans can expect to see these Metal Gear t-shirts in Uniqlo Philippines stores sometime in late January 2024, though there’s no specific release date yet. As with most UT collections, each t-shirt will be priced at PHP 790.
Aside from Metal Gear, Uniqlo is also going to release a Haikyuu graphic tee lineup to mark the upcoming release of the Haikyuu final film in Japan this February.
