After the release of Part 1 last week, Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween- Decisive Battle is officially opening in cinemas in the Philippines this February.
This newest entry in the live-action Tokyo Revengers film series will come to PH cinemas on February 7, and it serves as the second half of the Bloody Halloween two-part film. As its title implies, the two-part film is based on the Bloody Halloween arc of Ken Wakui’s hit anime.
Starring Takumi Kitamura (Yusuke in the live-action Yu Yu Hakusho series), the film’s premise is described as:
“Takemichi Hanagaki (Takumi Kitamura) is close to uncovering the secret of the mysterious Valhalla gang as war approaches between them and the Toman gang. Still on a mission in the past to save his beloved Hinata(Mio Imada) from getting killed in the present, Takemichi must figure out what happened during the deadly “Bloody Halloween” brawl for a chance at a future with her.
The Toman gang is falling apart as the top members seem to be following their own agenda. First Division Captain and founding member of the Tokyo Manji Gang Keisuke Baji(Kento Nagayama) crossed sides and betrayed his own to join Valhalla. Mikey(Ryo Yoshizawa), head of the Toman gang, surprisingly integrates Tetta Kisaki(Shotaro Mamiya) a former leader of their enemy gang, Moebius, to their group as Third Division Captain. Takemichi must navigate the deadly fallout between best friends and comrades to discover the link from the past to his present, and save the person he cares for the most.”
Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween- Decisive Battle will be released in cinemas in the Philippines beginning February 7, 2024. More info on the film, including its official cinema list, will likely be revealed closer to the movie’s release.
