After much anticipation, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree finally got a proper trailer, and with it came the reveal of a Collector’s Edition that promises to be a must-have for the biggest Soulsborne fans.
First off, if you haven’t seen the trailer, then you definitely should as it’s packed with lots of new footage featuring new locations, bosses, and more. Check it out here:
At the end of the trailer, a Collector’s Edition of Shadow of the Erdtree was revealed, and it includes, a 46cm statue of Messmer the Impaler. This new character seems to be the main boss of the game, or at least someone who will be as difficult as Malenia (who was the key figure in the base game’s Collector’s Edition).
Along with the statue, the package also comes in a special box, and it features a 40-page hardcover artbook and a single-use download code for Shadow of the Erdtree on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, or Xbox One. Take note that this edition does not include the base game which is actually good news for collectors who already have a copy of Elden Ring.
There are also a selection of digital versions, including:
- Shadow of the Erdtree Edition – includes the base game and the DLC.
- Shadow of the Erdtree Deluxe Edition – includes the base game, DLC, and digital soundtrack plus artbook for both.
- Shadow of the Erdtree Premium Bundle – includes the DLC and its digital soundtrack plus artbook.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on June 21, 2024. Pre-orders for the DLC are available now, with the expansion being priced at USD 39.99 (or PHP 1,999 on Steam) when you get it on its own.
