After just one week, Persona 3 Reload sold over 1 million copies worldwide, making it the fastest-selling game in Atlus’ history.
The game’s sales record was revealed via the Atlus West official X (formerly Twitter) account. What’s interesting to note is that it mentions Persona 3 Reload having 1 million “copies sold” which is different from the more typical “copies shipped” which counts units shipped to retailers but may not have been sold to customers.
Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that Persona 3 Reload is a huge win for Atlus, not to mention the Persona series. After all, as Persona 5 has become one of the most popular entries in the series, Reload’s further success means the series’ popularity shows no signs of fading anytime soon.

Reload is a remake of Persona 3 which was originally released for the PS2. This remake features a visual style and gameplay that’s reminiscent of Persona 5, though it’s still a faithful recreation of the original. What it also has are various quality of life changes, as well as new voice actors with fully-voiced Social Links.
Persona 3 Reload is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
