Atlus recently unveiled Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the latest installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series, and it’s coming to consoles and PC this June.

Vengeance is an enhanced re-release of SMT V which was originally launched back in November 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. Aside from letting players on other platforms experience the latest Shin Megami Tensei title, this version also features a second route called “Canon of Vengeance” which features major changes in the game’s second half.
Of course, this game will also feature the original version which is called “Canon of Creation.” Thus, players of this version should get a lot of replay value out of Vengeance. After all, each route can take around 80 hours to finish, giving players 160 hours in total.
SEGA and Atlus also revealed the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the following:
- Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Digital Edition
- Sakura Cinders of the East: A DLC quest featuring Konohana Sakuya.
- Holy Will and Profane Dissent: A DLC quest featuring Dagda.
- Mitama Dance of Wealth: A DLC add-on that makes it easier to farm Macca.
- Mitama Dance of EXP: A DLC add-on that makes it easier to gain EXP.
- Mitama Dance of Miracles: A DLC add-on that that makes it easier to learn Miracles.
Finally, pre-orders of the game will come with the 2 Sacred Treasures Set which will feature two reusable items that can be used in battle. Meanwhile, Switch players will be able to register up to three demons to their Demon Compendium in Vengeance if they have save date of the first release.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 21, 2024.
