In case you missed it, publisher 505 Games and developer Rabbit & Bear Studios released a trailer last week for their upcoming strategy RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Let’s just say the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes pre-launch trailer was so fully packed as it featured the companions you’ll encounter and more. Check out the trailer below:
What’s impressive from the trailer is that there’s just so much characters who are also voice acted as well with each of them having their own story to tell. The game contains over 100 playable characters each with their own engaging gameplay as brought to life by Yoshitaka Murayama (from Suikoden I and II) and Junko Kawano (from Suikoden I and IV) as they aim to deliver a modern take on the classic JRPG experience.
The trailer even briefly touches on the various bits of content that the game contains INCLUDING a bunch of minigames, a six-character battle system, and a rich world populated by characters of various origins and races. The world of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is visualized via a mix of 2D and 3D environments that are quite akin to the visuals of Octopath Traveler. I’m personally excited because, as an RPG fan, this game DOES look really good and its actually almost mind-blowing to think of how many characters were voiced in this game as highlighted in the video. Can’t wait to see how it all pans out in the final version of the game.
If you’re like me who was enamored by the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes pre-launch trailer, then good news because we won’t have to wait much longer! The game will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on April 23, 2024.
