Originally set to launch on June 21, SEGA and Atlus have announced that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be released earlier. Instead of the 21st, Vengeance is now set to release on June 14, 2024.
There’s no reason given by SEGA and Atlus regarding the game’s earlier release date. Whatever the reason is, this should be great news for fans as it means they’ll get to play the game earlier than expected.
Given the change in release though, SEGA shared details about what to expect for players who already placed pre-orders. Here’s a rundown of SEGA’s official guidelines:
- Physical Version: If you have pre-ordered the physical version of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance through a physical or online retailer: please contact them directly to inquire about the updated release date.
- Digital Version: If you have pre-ordered the Digital Version on the Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store your pre-order will be automatically cancelled due to the change in release date.
- Users who wish to proceed with their Nintendo Switch version pre-orders, please place a new pre-order when the Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance product page on the Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store is updated with the new June 14, 2024 release date. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
- Steam Digital Pre-Orders: If you’ve pre-ordered on Steam: You will receive your digital copy on June 14th, you do not need to make a new pre-order.
