Diablo 4 Public Test Realm is now live on PC

Players can try out Diablo 4's Season 4 changes via the PTR until next week.

Ahead of the new season’s release, Blizzard Entertainment released the first Diablo 4 Public Test Realm (PTR) for PC.

PTRs are fairly common for many PC games, especially for those with a competitive multiplayer aspect. After all, game balancing is tough and often requires player feedback, especially for big patches.

Diablo 4 may not exactly be a competitive game, but its Season 4 changes are big, necessitating a Public Test Realm. In fact, this is going to be the first PTR for the game. Take note that PTRs are usually only for PC, and this is also the case for Diablo. Players on consoles will need to wait for the official release to try out the new content in Season 4.

There, players on PC will be able to test out some of the major changes with the upcoming season, including itemization updates, a revamped Helltide event, Boss Ladder changes, and more.

Aside from playing the game early, the PTR is important so that players can give adequate feedback ahead of the season’s launch. To share their thoughs, players are encouraged to use in-game feedback tool or share their experience in the Diablo forums.
