After a few intriguing teasers, HONOR has successfully launched the Magic6 Pro in the Philippines, the brand’s latest flagship smartphone.
The launch event featured a discussion on AI featuring HONOR Philippines PR folks alongside members of the PH media. There, they discussed some of the AI features that make the Magic6 Pro a worthy flagship upgrade.
“The exclusive tour gave our media partners a full-circle moment as they witnessed how the HONOR phones are produced from premium materials with the latest technology processes and now the HONOR Magic6 Pro is being introduced in the Philippine Market. This is the first time that we’ve done it, and this is just the beginning,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines.
The highlight feature of the Magic6 Pro is no doubt its 180MP telephoto camera that supports 2.5x optical zoom, 5x/10x zoom, and an impressive 100x digital zoom.
There’s also the Ultra-large Self-adjusting Aperture which allows users to control the depth of field from f/1.4 to f/2.0, meaning there are more options for creative shots. This should make the photography experience reminiscent of using a proper DSLR. What’s more, the feature is great to have when taking photos of subjects in motion.
Design-wise, the Magic6 Pro is eye-catching while being durable thanks to its HONOR NanoCrystal Shield. Backed by SGS’s Five Star Overall Glass Drop Resistance Ability certification, the phone’s NanoCrystal Shield should help it survive drops that can damage regular glass. Plus, the phone is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, giving it extra protection.
As for battery life, that shouldn’t be an issue with the phone’s 5600 mAh battery which should deliver all-day use on a single charge. If it does need charging, the phone supports 80W HONOR Wired SuperCharge and 66W HONOR Wireless SuperCharge for fast top-ups.
Finally, the Magic6 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the latest flagship SoC from Qualcomm which should deliver top-notch performance for gaming and productivity, all while being power efficient, useful to keep the phone going throughout the day.
