Aside from Crazy Taxi’s Axel, SEGA revealed that Beat from Jet Set Radio is coming to Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble as part of the SEGA Pass DLC.
Beat is the playable character of Jet Set Radio, SEGA’s classic action game that was released for the Dreamcast back in June 2000. Similar to Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble’s other guest characters, Beat will be available as part of a DLC that features six characters alongside 15 SEGA-themed Style Items.

As for the game itself, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is the latest entry in SEGA’s platforming series, and it’s the first main entry in the franchise in nearly three years as Banana Mania came out in October 2021.
This new Switch-exclusive series entry will feature the franchise’s signature unique platforming stages coupled with multiplayer game modes complete with a host of mini-games.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is coming to the Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2024.
