While the upcoming anime movie has yet to get a release date, fans are in for a treat as Chainsaw Man and Universal Studios Japan announced a special collab that’s set to open later this year.
Universal Studios Japan (or USJ for short) is no stranger to anime collabs. Sure, there’s no proper anime-themed area in the park, but USJ has done collaborations with popular shows like Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family in recent years.
Now, USJ’s next anime tie-up is with the hit 2022 show Chainsaw Man. To announce the collab, a special visual was shared featuring Denji in front of USJ in menacing fashion.
Currently, there’s no word yet on what exactly fans can expect in this collaboration, though it likely won’t be a full-blown ride. Based on previous anime collabs, it’s likely that this tie-up will feature some special Chainsaw Man-themed activities, along with decor inspired by the hit anime.
There’s also a chance that a ride in USJ will be decked out in a Chainsaw Man theme. Plus, there’s a chance that the collab also features a horror-themed experience, at least based on last year’s Resident Evil collab.
What is confirmed is that the Chainsaw Man and Universal Studios Japan collab will begin in Fall 2024. As such, you can expect more details to be shared in the coming weeks or months.
