Ahead of the game’s release, SEGA announced that the Crazy Taxi protagonist Axel is coming to Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble as part of the game’s SEGA Pass DLC.
In case you’re unfamiliar or just need a refresher, Axel is the main character of SEGA’s iconic Crazy Taxi series, and he has appeared in other games like SEGA Superstars and SEGA Heroes. Now, he’s making his way to the upcoming Super Monkey Ball game.
To be exact, Axel is coming to the game as part of the SEGA Pass DLC which will be available as part of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition or as a separate purchase.

Aside from Axel, the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble SEGA Pass DLC will feature 15 SEGA-themed Style Items along with 6 playable characters in total.
