Following Moonlight Blade M open beta, VNGGames announced that it is launching Ghost Story: Love Destiny in Southeast Asia this year.
This game is developed by NetEase Games and features a story inspired by the novel “Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio” by Pu Songling or the sweet romantic world in the popular series “Love O2O”. As such, the game promises to feature a rather romantic storyline set in a fantastical take on Chinese history.
In the game, players will get to choose from 13 distinct classes with 27 diverse customization options. For instance, players can emulate a Heroine Blade-Master such as Bei Weiwei or a Male Virtuoso like Xiao Nai.
In the game, players will need to take on various bosses and dungeons, all while collecting unique equipment and participating in trading. Along with its MMORPG elements that should be familiar to many players, the game will also feature 3D graphics with eye-catching visuals.
Combat aside, the game also puts a big emphasis on relationships between the characters. Given this, it should come as no surprise that Ghost Story will let players search for a soulmate, marry them, and even build a home. Finally, the game has a feature where players can raise kids in-game.
Currently, there’s no word yet on a release date for the game, though VNGGames will release it in SEA this year, with more details to follow soon.
