Along with the rest of the roster, the new hero Sun Ce can also be obtained by participating in various events. Plus, players can unlock up to 28 heroes and 21 hero skins for free by completing specific activities.

To celebrate the game’s launch, an Honor of Kings All-Star showmatch happened on June 22, featuring popular content creators in Southeast Asia. these include Team Damara which is comprised of Dlar Gaming, Amara TV, Sumpak, Cherizawa, Aningning; and Team Buunzie composed of Buunja, Razzie, Binx, KC Bae, Rebengga, and Elie Gaming.
