Popular global tech brand Huawei just announced the release of its latest tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5″S, which is now available for pre-order. This new device was teased earlier, and aims to combine top-tier performance with a sleek design geared towards the incoming back-to-school season.
The MatePad 11.5″S features Huawei’s innovative PaperMatte Display, offering a clear, crisp, and eye-friendly viewing experience. The nanoscale anti-glare etching essentially reduces reflected light interference by a whopping 99% and surface reflectivity by 2%. As such, the tablet has received Low Visual Fatigue certification from SGS and eye-friendly clearance from TÜV Rheinland.
The MatePad 11.5″S is designed for productivity, equipped with SuperHub for smooth screen projection, file sharing, and easy annotation. The HUAWEI Notes app now features quick gestures, a refreshed interface, and a new, easy-to-use lasso tool. As with its earlier iterations, the device still offers PC-level WPS Office 2.0, which looks to be the premier desktop alternative.
The HUAWEI 3rd generation M-Pencil with NearLink technology undoubtedly completes the PaperMatte experience, as creative users will have higher accuracy and lower latency when working on their projects. In addition, the tablet comes with a nifty new software feature. Developed in collaboration with the China Academy of Art, the GoPaint app offers over 100 various brushes and a multiple textures designed for digital art.
HUAWEI MateBook X Pro
During the event, Huawei also teased the upcoming launch and price reveal of the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro and HUAWEI MateBook 14–two laptops packing advanced features like Intel Core Ultra processors, high-resolution displays, and enhanced connectivity options–with the former even boasting a feather-light 980 grams. These new devices aim to ensure seamless user experiences across multiple devices, while catering to both students and professionals.

The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5″S (8GB + 256GB) is available in Violet and Space Gray while priced at PHP 29,999. Pre-order purchases include free accessories, including the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard which comes at a PHP 6,999 value, and HUAWEI M-Pencil priced at PHP 5,999. In addition, the HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse which costs PHP 1,899 is included in the bunch.
