The UEFA Champions League final at London’s Wembley Stadium was captured through the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, OPPO’s newest flagship smartphone. As the premiere football competition’s Official Global Partner, OPPO showcased their smartphones’ imaging capabilities through the stadium big screen, featuring photos from the OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards.
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra is the latest flagship phone to feature powerful imaging capabilities that empower users to capture and experience true-to-life content. At the OPPO booth in Potters Field Park, guests were welcome to have their pictures taken using the flagship smartphone on replica team benches of the two 2024 UEFA Champions League finalists, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid. They also had the chance to test drive the latest OPPO Reno11 F 5G’s generative AI photo editing tool, OPPO AI Eraser.
OPPO global brand ambassador, Kaká, graced the OPPO Hospitality Lounge with a meet and greet, enhancing the fan experience alongside a range of interactive activities. The OPPO X UEFA themed spaces and Imaging Zone allowed guests to discover the latest in OPPO technology across a range of smartphones and smart devices.
“It’s been another fantastic year of partnership with OPPO, engaging fans with cutting-edge imaging technology and greater access to the UEFA Champions League,” said Guillaume Sabran, Head of Sponsorship and Licensing at UEFA. “OPPO has been an excellent addition to the UEFA partner family over the past two years.”
Billy Zhang, President of Overseas MKT, Sales and Service at OPPO, remarked on the impact of OPPO’s mobile imaging technologies in enriching football fans’ experiences over two seasons. “It’s inspiring to see OPPO’s industry-leading mobile imaging technologies continue to elevate the experience for football fans and enable them to capture countless inspiring moments both on and off the pitch during the past two seasons of the UEFA Champions League.”
The partnership extended beyond the stadium with a charity football match featuring legendary players like Kaká and Roberto Carlos against Indonesian players. Afterwards, signed jerseys from the match were auctioned to support youth football development in Indonesia. Through their partnership with the UEFA Champions League, OPPO has, indeed, brought fans around the world closer to the excitement of the world’s top football competition.
