The press conference took place on May 30 at the High Grounds Café in Quezon City. There, the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) revealed that the upcoming season of PCC will happen nationwide, with students from all over the country encouraged to participate in the Regional Cup.
This Regional Cup is one of the two main tournaments of the new season of the Philippine Collegiate Championship. The tournament will be held online, and it will let students in NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao represent their institutions in various games.
Meanwhile, the second tournament is the National League where the top four teams in each region will show off their skills in games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty Mobile. Registrations for the MLBB leg are now open on the PCC Facebook page.
Finally, the PCC will host the Campus Roadshow which will feature an array of experiences for students to learn more about the esports and gaming industry. These include the Esports Masterclass series, community tournaments, and other activities that will be held in institutions around the country.
