After its initial announcement a few weeks ago, Cygames shared new details about the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising booth at Evo 2024.
To be exact, the booth will be open from July 19 to 21 which is the full duration of Evo 2024. The highlight of the booth is the playable demo of the game with the upcoming Version 1.50 update. This update will add an array of balance changes for characters like Gran and Lucilius, along with a brand-new character that will be revealed at Evo 2024.
Along with the demo, fans attending can also get to join an autograph session with Hideo Minaba, president of CyDesignation. Minaba also oversaw the character designs for Versus Rising.
There are also other special guests at the event, including fighting game community personalities Kizzie Kay and Mike Ross who will compete in a friendly GBVSR tournament at the Cygames booth. These two will also host a watch party for the main GBVSR tournament at Evo 2024.

Cygames have invited Kizzie Kay and Mike Ross, prolific members of the fighting game community, to compete in a friendly GBVSR tournament at the Cygames booth. Additionally, Kizzie Kay and Mike Ross will be hosting a watch party for Evo 2024’s main GBVSR tournament. Evo 2024 attendees are invited to the booth to participate.

As a bonus for those who visit Granblue Fantasy booth, each attendee can attempt a special mission in a group of up to four players. Those who complete the mission will get a limited-edition t-shirt.
Finally, a selection of new GBVSR merch will be available at the Cygames booth. Plus, previous merch sold at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles and EVO Japan 2024 will also be available.
