Elden Ring mod makes Miyazaki the DLC’s final boss

Yes, that's Miyazaki and his Promised Consort, Patches.

There’s a new Elden Ring mod that turns Shadow of the Erdtree’s final boss into none other than the game’s director, Hidetaka Miyazaki.

This new mod was made by MRRCrychicQing and uploaded just a few days ago to Nexus Mods with the name “Patches – Consort of Miyazaki.” That’s because the mod swaps Radahn with the iconic FromSoftware NPC patches, though this time, Patches is Radahn-sized and uses what seems to be two Moonlight Greatswords.

If that’s not enough, Patches’ second phase swaps out Miquella with Miyazaki himself who is wearing a suit along with his signature glasses.

To give you a better idea of what to expect, you can check out this video of the mod in action courtesy of Cell:

It’s not the cleanest-looking mod out there, but it’s no doubt a funny one given how ridiculous (and janky) Patches looks with Miyazaki on his shoulders. If that’s not enough, Radahn’s Rock Sling attack is also transformed by the mod. Instead of simply throwing chunks of rocks, Patches throws Basilisks at the player. Aside from these visual changes though, the fight should be the same as the original.

While Radahn and Miquella being the final boss of the DLC is quite epic, many players were disappointed by the fact that Radahn was essentially “reused,” with many wishing that players could have fought someone new like Godwyn instead.

This mod might not turn Radahn in Godwyn, but given Patches’ legendary status among the Souls fanbase, this version of the DLC final boss might be a more fitting finale. Plus, those with issues regarding the DLC bosses’ moveset and difficulty can take their frustration out on Miyazaki with this mod.
