Electroworld relaunched its store at SM North EDSA, debuting an updated design with a focus on delivering a better tech shopping experience.
To be exact, Electroworld’s SM North store was relaunched on Friday, July 19. There, members of the press got to see the new style that Electroworld went with for their key store at SM North’s Cyberzone.
In this store, Electroworld went with an open layout that features an array of demo areas for a wide array of devices that are divided by brands. For instance, there are demo areas for LG and Samsung TVs that feature playable demos of Tekken on an Xbox Series X and Super Mario Bros U. on a Nintendo Switch.
Aside from these, there are also demo areas for audio devices from the likes of Sony and JBL, along with showcases of laptops and phones from brands such as ASUS and OPPO. On top of these, there’s also an arts and crafts area which showcases printers and other devices.
According to representatives from Electroworld, this more open design was made so that buyers can try out a variety of devices first before committing to a purchase. This is in contrast to the typical IT store design where devices are behind counters. As such, the new design should also make for a more engaging shopping experience for buyers.
After the Electroworld SM North relaunch, there are plans for future updates in other stores, though more details about future store refreshes will be shared in the future.
